In an abandoned house, there was a mirror.
No one cared to take it when they left,
yet everyone stopped to look at themselves
whenever they walked by.
They left it hanging on the wall.
With time, spiders built their nests behind it,
and dust distorted its reflections.
It was not the most valuable of mirrors.
But even so,
when a ray of sunlight entered through the window
and met it,
light filled the entire house,
revealing silhouettes, small animals,
and even flowers across the walls.
Even from outside,
you could see the house shining.
Where there seemed to be nothing,
the light restored hope.
That is what a reflection is capable of.
Because it was still a mirror,
reflecting the glory of its Creator.
“So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.”
(2 Corinthians 3:18 NTV)

Another beautiful poem Héctor, God sees us so differently to how we see ourselves.❤️
What a beautiful reminder!
